FlowConnect

Privacy Policy

Effective 4 August 2026 · Last updated 4 August 2026

The short version. FlowConnect has no accounts and no sign-in. Your progress — solved levels, best move counts, daily streak, Time Trial runs and half-finished boards — is stored on your device and is never uploaded to us. We do not sell your data and we never will.

What does leave your device is limited to two things: anonymous usage and crash telemetry that tells us which parts of the game work, and the data Google needs in order to show ads. You can switch personalised advertising off and still play the whole game.

1. Who we are

FlowConnect is published by Apps by Nadeem. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Apps by Nadeem, and “the app” refers to the FlowConnect mobile application for Android and iOS.

For anything in this policy, write to appsbynadeem@gmail.com.

2. Information that stays on your device

Most of what the app records never leaves your phone. It is written to local storage and a local database, readable only by the app:

We have no server for this data, no account to attach it to, and no way to read it. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

3. Information processed by third parties

The app includes services from Google. Each collects data under its own privacy policy, as an independent controller or as our processor, as set out below.

ServiceWhat it receivesWhy
Google AdMob Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, device and OS details, coarse location derived from IP, and your interactions with ads. To select, deliver, cap the frequency of, and measure ads.
Google Analytics for Firebase A randomly generated app instance identifier, device model, OS version, language and region, plus gameplay events: screens viewed, levels and runs completed with their time and move count, and which ads were shown, skipped, withheld or failed to load. To understand which parts of the game people use and where they get stuck, so we can improve it.
Firebase Crashlytics Crash and error reports: stack traces, device model, OS version, app version, and a randomly generated installation identifier. To find and fix crashes.
Firebase Remote Config An app instance identifier and basic device details. To adjust game and ad pacing settings without shipping an update.

None of the events we send carry your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any other directly identifying information.

This version of the app sells nothing. There are no in-app purchases and no payment surface of any kind, so we never receive or handle payment details. If a purchase is offered in a future version, it will be processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and card and billing details will go to them and never be visible to us.

Google's handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, and its advertising practices in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland

Before any personalised advertising, the app shows a Google-certified consent form asking whether ad partners may use your data for that purpose. You may decline and still play the entire game — you will simply see non-personalised ads instead. You can reopen that form at any time from Settings → Privacy options and change your answer.

If you are on iOS

Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt appears before any tracking begins. Choosing “Ask App Not to Track” prevents the app and its ad partners from accessing your IDFA. You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Everyone

5. Children

FlowConnect is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:

7. Retention

Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics data is retained by Google for up to 14 months; crash reports for up to 90 days. We do not operate any database of our own.

8. International transfers

Google processes the data described above on servers that may be located outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in its own privacy policy.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to it, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because the app holds no account and we store no identifiable records, the fastest route for most requests is to uninstall the app and reset your advertising identifier. For anything else, contact us and we will help — including passing the request to Google where the data sits with them.

If you are a California resident: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.

10. Security

The app stores its data in your device's private application storage, protected by the operating system's own sandboxing. Traffic to Google's services uses encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but because we hold no accounts and no personal records, there is very little about you to expose.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will surface a notice in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
